Osaka International Airport (ITM)
Facilities and Services

(Osaka, Japan)

Osaka Itami Airport offers a reasonable selection of facilities for passengers travelling through either of its terminals. Banks and bureaux de change are absent, but ATMs are readily available, as are Internet kiosks.

There are plenty of facilities for shopping and eating, with the latter covering both Eastern and Western options.

Airport Information Desks

Information desks are available in the Arrivals halls on the first floor of both the North and the South terminals. Some other useful airport telephone numbers include:

Post Office - +81 6 6841 1060

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets

The airport has a large number of shops available at both terminal buildings, with the emphasis on Japanese products. Among the shops on hand are those selling candy, gifts, men's and women's clothing, wine, Kyoto handicrafts, books, pharmaceuticals and convenience goods.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants

A variety of restaurants at the airport offer Japanese, Chinese and Western food. Outlets can be found in both terminals and include traditional Japanese restaurants, sushi and noodle bars and tea and coffee shops.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities

ATMs can be found in both the Arrivals and Departures lobbies of the North and South terminals. Meanwhile, a post office is available on the first floor of the central block. Internet kiosks can be found in various places in both terminals, while Wi-Fi Internet is available in the public lobby.

Business and Conference Facilities

There is no dedicated business centre available at Osaka Itami Airport. However, conference rooms are available on the fourth floor of the north terminal. Alternatively, the Hilton Osaka hotel is located in the city, just a short drive from the airport, and provides ample services and amenities for business guests.

Disabled Facilities

The airport has ramps for the convenience of wheelchair users, while for blind passengers there are wooden handrails with Braille to indicate directions. Braille button can be found in the airport's elevators. Disabled-friendly toilets are also available in various parts of the airport and trained staff are on hand to provide extra assistance when necessary.

Other Facilities

The airport has a dentist surgery as well as a combined relaxation/salon area.
